What is the procedure followed for getting admission for Ph.D in IIT after completion of M.Phil course? Can you please let me know the complete steps which we have to follow for the same? It will be really helpful if you can answer me back soon.

You have to apply on a prescribed format when IIT announces the Ph.D admission. Being an M.Phil candidate you have don't have to appear for any other entrance exam. There will be interview and viva stage which you need to clear.

Admission will have more chances if you have qualified exams like NET/SET/GATE or have any research experience. This will give weightage to your CV against other candidates.
