No, Diploma in Education is different from Nursery Education Program. Diploma in Education is a diploma course with two year duration. Candidates who have passed 10+2 in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to study the Diploma in Education course. Candidates after completion of the D.Ed course can work as a teacher in elementary schools. It is one of the important courses in the teaching profession. Diploma in Nursery Teacher Training or Nursery Education is useful for those candidates who wish to become preschool teachers. Candidates after completion of the Diploma in Nursery Education or Nursery Teacher Training can work in various nursery schools.
