hi friends this is simple pole for all those who have written both xat exam and cat ,please tell which was tougher

I think you have faced it,so you can better share your experiance of XAT with us.

yes ,this year the xat was tougher than cat,i think it was by far the toughest exam this year

i think the who have faced it can better give answer but ,,,,as i saw the paper it was tough,,,,,,,,,

Ya I have heard that this year XAT was tougher then CAT.

although i haven't attempted any of them ,i heard it from by brother who appeared for both of them that .......this year due to the online exam they found cat a bit confusing but ....xat was tougher overall.......
both the exam are comparable as the colleges they offer are comparable.........

xat was quite a tougher exam than cat.
but not to worry for cat aspirants as u can give it again on 30th Jan 2010.

hiii in my opinion XAT was tougher than CAT because it has essay writing which makes XAT exam more tougher than other exams....

CAT is the toughest exam . XAT 2010 is easier than CAT

yes, i have seen tboth the papers and trust me out of my reveiw i will say that XAT papers are always tougher than that of CAT and 2010 was no different the level of questions asked in XAT is of higher standard than CAT mainly in cat i will say 1 has to be sharp and wise in answering questions but XAT is totally based upon your knowledge and your depth in study.thanks

you must always see that xat is tougher than cat

cat is the most toughest exam .. xat is easy compared to cat.. if you prepare for cat you can take up xat without any difficulty

according to me cat is tougher than xat 2010 on the basic of question.

both cat and xat are tougher exams, without any preperation all the exams are tough. so prepare well and then see no exams are tougher.

i dint think there any exam in India is tougher than cat,it was that the format was different in xat and no one had practiced that format but the questions were relatively easy

XAT is always tougher than cat....but a regualr disposition of xat is to repeat their questions after some period

according to yes,specially the english part it was really tough,i dont know about previous rears but this year there was lot of difference between the standards of bothe the exams

i think both are same level, no one is toughest exams, if your preperation is good. then everything is easy.

Yes frined the XAT is tougher than the CAT........

XAT 2010 was a bit tougher than the CAT, though there was not ,like a huge diffrence but still, who attempted both the exams found XAT tougher than CAT.

CAT 2010 was tougher and typical then XAT.

New pattern was adopted for CAT.

Yes...but XAT is not so tougher. It contains all exercises in CAT such as Grammar, quantitative section so on. If you are expert in writing essays then you will feel XAT easy. In XAT essay should be submitted on certain topic .Thats it. Essay writing alone is an exception in case of CAT, for which extra time will be allotted in XAT .Dont worry. Everything is easy if you take it easy.

i didnt gave it dis year but still wat people said was that xat exam had some question equal to cat level....
so it may be said that XAT WAS tougher than what it used to come...
but changes is the need of hour...

i have seen both the papers and tried to attempt them,
i think CAT is much more difficult than XAT

Both are tougher but XAT 2010 is much tougher than CAT. But I am not sure because I have not given the examination but I have heard through the many people that XAT is tougher that CAT.

off course yaar xat is much tough then c.a.t in this year

XAt is usually tougher due to its English..And Essay part....So i guess XAT is tougher than CAT...but the only advantage is comppetition is is lesser in XAT...

I think people stop thinking this way. that this is tough and thats not.
When one believes in oneself and hardwork , nothing is tough.
This attitude helped me a lot.

It's really that the 2010 XAT was tough than CAT..but actually CAT prepation should be most than XAT.

Yes it seems to be that XAT was this time tougher than CAT as my friends told me.

i didn't much about XAT but cat is tougher exam for for mba prospectus..............

I dont have deep idea about it management exams but as far as i heard from other cat is the toughest exam to crack and get iim.

Both are easy if you studied well. Study well, there will be no tough exams.

I am not attempting those exam but i have seen the questions of both exam,in my point of view XAT is more tough than CAT,but now CAT is a popular exem XAT...

Yes question was very tough. But there will be less cut-off i think.

Personally i really don't know which one is tougher.I have tried to solve the previous papers of CAT and the problems were a bit tricky.CAT depends upon the time factor.

We have to solve the questions as soon as possible with in the stipulated time which makes it tough.My friends have said that the XAT paper was much tougher than the CAT for their respective year.

To the best of my knowledge from various resources, I heard that XAT exam is the difficult exam than that of CAT.
