Is it Possible to do the M.tech Regular if a Candidate complete B.Tech from a Karnataka State Open University? Can you please let me know what is the minimum qualification required for the same? Awaiting to get the answer soon as possible.

You have completed B.Tech from a Karnataka State Open University so you are eligible for M.Tech course but you should qualify in GATE exam.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE exam.

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

Yes, you are eligible to do regular M.Tech course after completion of B.Tech from Karnataka State Open University.

Eligibility :

• Candidate must have passed B.Tech / B.E. course from any recognised university.
• Candidate must have secured more than 50% marks in graduation.
