You can try for admission but it will be difficult for a OBC candidate to get admission in a top NIT with GATE score of 437.

You must try because every year the cut off is different and we can't predict what can happen this year. It might decrease or increase according to the number of candidates willing to take admission in M.Tech course.

The number of seats available also has impact on the cut off marks and if the seats intake are increased this year then chances will be high for getting admission. Therefore, hope for the best and don't worry if you don't get admission because there are many options like jobs in PSU and other good colleges.

It is tricky to identify valid GATE score for admission in NIT as it keep on varying every year. GATE score depends on two factors which are maximum marks scored by a candidate appearing for the exam and students appearing in a stream. There is no fixed GATE score which you can rely on.

I AM QUALIFIED IN GATE
I GOT RANK 28000(CATEGEORY SC)
CAN I GET A ADMISION IN NITS.
