Can I apply for Aerospace Engineering through GATE exam after completing M.Sc in Physics?


Respected Sir, I am pursuing M.Sc in Physics and after completing I want to apply for Aerospace Engineering. I want to know can I apply for Aerospace Engineering through GATE exam after completing M.Sc in Physics? If yes then please tell me the procedure.

No, after completion of M.Sc in Physics, you are not eligible for M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering through GATE entrance exam.

Those candidates who have completed B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from a recognized University are eligible for M.Tech course.

Yes, if you can qualify GATE after M.Sc physics, then surely you can apply for M.Tech admission in aerospace engineering. Just make sure that you opt for the right subject according to your choice.

Qualifying GATE with an excellent score is definitely required for getting admission in your choice of stream through counselling.

Can I do M.Sc and B.Sc in physics and then do Aerospace engineering through GATE?...Am I eligible?
