Re: Can I write CA exam directly after scoring 50% in M.Com?
Chartered Accountancy course has three levels:
1. Common Proficiency test: It is the first stage. 2. Integrated Professional Competence course and Articleship. 3. Final course. Candidates who have done bachelor's degree or master's degree with 55% or more are directly eligible for the IPCC stage. However as your percentage of marks in master's degree is only 50%, you will have to write Common Proficiency test if you want to become Chartered Accountant. CPT is conducted twice every year by ICAI in June and December. You can apply online at www.icai.org when dates are released. |

Re: Can I write CA exam directly after scoring 50% in M.Com?
There is an exemption for candidates with B.Com degree with pass with 55% marks from CACPT. Hence, if you have got B.Com qualification with above marks then you can directly get yourself registered for CA IPCC.
There is nothing much written about M.Com or lost graduation in the eligibility criteria. Hence, you should look at your graduation marks and act according to it. |
