Yes, definitely there is a job for MCA students in the Indian Army.
But you make sure that you have physics, chemistry mathematics in your 12th level and that too with good percentage of marks.
You will have the opportunities in computer sections of army. The entry scheme for postgraduate is TGC education.
The vacancies for this course are as per the notification which will be released twice a year.
Your age should be between 23-27 by the first day you are going to join.

Duration of training will be 1 year.

You can join Indian Army by the following ways :-

1- Through CDS exam conducted by UPSC twice a Year. In this you have to clear the written exam, a 5 day long SSB interview and a medical test. Lookout for the notifications in nov-dec and july-aug.

2- Through the various Rallies conducted by Indian Army in your district/state. (Although you have a post graduation degree so I suggest you to go through the first way i.e. CDS )

You can also join Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.

After completion of MCA course, you can join in Indian Army through CDS exam.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Service exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

Indian Military academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized University.

Officers Training Academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized University.

Age Criteria:-

Indian Military Academy: - 19-24 Years
Officer's Training Academy: - 19-25 Years

Yes, MCA students can apply for AEC(men) entry.

Candidates who have passed Post Graduate Degree MA/M.Sc in subjects as per Notification /M.Com/MCA/MBA with 1st or 2nd Division are only eligible. Final Year appearing/Result awaiting students are not eligible.
