M.Tech stands for the Master of Technology. The entrance examination for this course is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology and it is called Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

So, almost every engineering college that offers master of technology program accept the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering score. GATE score is also accept by private engineering colleges, universities, self financed institutions.

Hence if you have good GATE score, you can approach to any engineering institute for admission in M.Tech.
