Default Re: Eligibility for NET exam after PGDM course from AICTE approved institute?

For a PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) degree holders, the eligibility for appearing in UGC NET says that only those candidates who have completed their Post Graduation Diploma in Management (PGDM) from an AICTE-approved institute and have been awarded a diploma which is considered to be equivalent to the Master’s degree of recognized Indian Universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi are eligible for registering in the UGC NET exam.

Also, your overall aggregate in the equivalent PGDM course should be at least 55% marks (50% for the reserved category candidates).

So, only AICTE approval alone does not make PGDM eligible for NET as only those institutes whose PGDM program has been certified by AIU are fully eligible for NET. Hence, you need to check whether your institute's PGDM course is certified by AIU to be equivalent to an MBA degree course.

For FAQs related to UGC NET eligibility for PGDM degree holders, you can refer to the link https://www.ugc.ac.in/FAQ-NET.pdf.
