If you have studied Maths at 10+2 level or during B.Com, then surely you can apply for MCA admission. Just make sure that you have got at least 50% marks in your B.Com Graduation from a recognized University.

Admission in MCA is mostly based on the entrance exam conducted by the University. If you have the above mentioned qualification, then you can apply for the entrance exam for the respective University in which you want to get admission.

There are many Universities in India that conduct their own entrance exam for MCA admission. You can apply for admission when the notification is announced.

Details About MCA :


MCA stands for Master of Computer Application and this course is known as one of the post graduate course and this course is of a duration of 3 years consisting of 6 semesters and this can be done in various modes.

As you have asked whether a B.com graduate can apply for MCA course,yeah you can but it would be better that you choose MBA/M.com instead as it has a correct stream of study ,but if it is the case that you want to be a part of IT company then MCA is a good option.

To do MCA course you would need to have completed a UG degree from a recognized university and added to that you should have studied maths as subject in your +2 and you should have 55% aggregate in both +2 & UG.

There are entrance exams which are conducted all over India to join in various colleges and you would need to satisfy the eligibility conditions for those exams also.

B.Com degree holder candidates are not eligible for MCA course.

MCA stands for Master in Computer Application.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with above 50% marks then you are eligible for MCA exam. Your graduation degree subject must be mathematics and computer application.
