I am interested to appear in GATE of this year. But I don’t know about the pattern of this year GATE. I would like to know about the pattern of this entrance exam so that I can get admission in MTech course.

Pattern of GATE Examination:

Detailed GATE Examination pattern is given below,

>> Duration of Exam - 3 hours (180 minutes)

>> Total Marks - 100 Marks

>> Total Number of Questions - 65 Questions

Total Sections,
* General Aptitude - 15 Marks
* Engineering Mathematics - 15 Marks
* Subject-Specific section - 70 Marks

A) General Aptitude - 1 to 5 Q - 1 Marks per question - 5 marks total
B) Technical + Engineering Mathematics:-
1 to 25 Questions - 25 Questions - 1 Mark per question - 25 Marks
26 to 55 Questions - 30 Questions - 2 Marks per question - 60 Marks
