I am BE Final year student. I am preparing to appear for 2017 GATE. If I dont get good rank in Gate 2017. Shall I again appear for 2018 and upgrade my rank. Please tell me what happens to 2017 gate rank.

Yes definitely you are eligible to appear in GATE examination next time also if your rank was not good at first time.

International students from Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates will also be eligible to appear for GATE exam.

Such students must have completed a bachelor degree in English or masters degree in Science in a relevant subject or must be in the final year of the program.

There is no age limit for GATE exam.

Yes, you are eligible for GATE exam 2018.

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then you are eligible for GATE exam 2017.

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam. You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

If you have got a GATE rank in 2017 then it is valid for 2 years.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This is entrance examination conducted by IIT or IISC for admission in Master of Technology. Candidates who have done bachelor's degree in engineering or technology or master's degree in science are eligible to apply for this exam.

The validity of GATE scorecard is now three years. Suppose you appear for GATE 2017 exam and do not get good rank then you can again appear for GATE 2018 exam and secure a good rank and it will valid for next three years. There is no limit on number of attempts for GATE examination.
