Percentage criteria in graduation and post graduation for CDS exam?
How much percentage is required to get eligible for CDS exam in both graduation & post graduation separately? Please advise me for my future. Thanking you.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services. The entrance exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice every year.
Eligibility criteria: **Minimum eligibility criteria for this exam is graduation in any discipline with passing percentage of marks for Military and Officer's Training academy and bachelor's degree in science or engineering for Navy and Airforce etc. If you have passing percentage of marks in bachelor's degree then you can apply for CDS exam. **Age limit for IMA is 1-24 years, for INA is 19-22 years, for OTA is 19-25 years. **Both unmarried male and female candidates can apply for the exam. It has written test and Service Selection Board. |

CDS stands for Combined defence service examination conducted by UPSC every year.
Under CDS, UPSC recruits candidates for * Indian Military academy (IMA) * Naval academy (NA) * Air force academy * Officer's training academy (OTA) To apply for CDS, Post graduation is not required. The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for CDS is that the candidate must have passed graduation from a recognized university. There is no percentage bar, just the candidate has to pass the graduation. * For IMA, candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. * For Naval academy and air force academy, the candidate must have passed graduation in Bachelor of engineering. CDS stands for Combined denfence services
Not Required any percentage in graduation for CDS exam. Just completed degree in any stream from a recognized university same as the post graduation students also... CDS exam conducted four different Posts,those are the Indian military Academy Indian Air force Naval academy officer's training academy |

CDS exam is conducted by UPSC and there isn't any percentage criteria for this exam. You just need the requirement qualification with pass marks from a recognized university.
Just make sure that your age is between 19 to 25 years. For Air Force and Navy you need graduation in maths or physics or engineering streams. |

Basically there is no certain minimum percentage is required in order to be eligible for appearing in CDS (Combined Defence Services) Recruitment Examination. You just have to meet the educational qualification eligibility in order to appear in CDS Recruitment Examination. Here is the basic educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in CDS Examination. There are basically 4 cadets in CDS and they are Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and Officer Training Academy.
For Naval Academy: B.Sc with Physics and Mathematics (or) Bachelor of Engineering is required. For Air Force Academy: B.Sc with Physics and or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering is required For Indian Military Academy and Officer Training Academy: Degree of a recognized university or its equivalent. If you successfully meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria that is more than enough to appear in CDS Examination. There is no percentage limit and you just have to PASS the respective qualification. |

No percentage criteria in Graduation is required to appear in CDS examination. The CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year for candidates who are interested to join in Indian Military/ Naval/ Air Force/ Officers Training Academy. Eligibility criteria required to appear in CDS examination is mentioned below :-
1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. Educational Qualification :- --> For Indian Military Academy (IMA) :- You must have completed Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university. --> For Indian Naval Academy :- You must have completed Graduation degree in Engineering from a recognised university. --> Indian Air Force Academy :- You must have completed Graduation degree from a recognised university with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level. 3. Age Limit :- --> Indian Military Academy :- 19-24 years --> Air Force Academy :- 19-24 years --> Naval Academy :- 19-22 years --> Officers Training Academy :- 19-25 years 4. Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible to apply for Indian Military Academy and Indian Naval Academy. 5. You must be Physically fit as per physical standards mentioned in the UPSC CDS examination notification. |
