Combined Defence services(CDS) examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment of candidates to
* Indian Military Academy, * Indian Naval Academy, * Air Force Academy, * Officers Training Academy (For Men & Women). EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : * For I.M.A and Officer's Training Academy : Candidate applying for this post should possess Degree from Recognized University or Equivalent qualification from Recognized Institution. * For Indian Navel Academy : Candidate must have Degree in Engineering from a recognized University. * For Air Force Academy : Candidate applying for this post should have Degree from any Recognized University(With Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. Candidate who are Studying in the final year/Semester Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply provided candidate should not have any backlog upto last semester/Year and they have to submit the proof of passing the degree Examination. |

No percentage criteria in Graduation is required to apply for CDS examination. The CDS examination is conducted by UPSC every year for candidates who are interested to join in Indian Military/ Naval/ Air Force. Officers Tarinig Academy. Eligibility Criteria required to appear in CDS examination is mentioned below :-
1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. Age Limit :- --> Indian Military Academy (IMA) :- 19-24 Years --> Naval Academy :- 19-22 Years --> Air Force Academy :- 19-23 Years --> Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) :- 19-25 Years 3. Educational Qualification :- --> IMA & OTA :- You must have completed Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized University. --> Naval Academy :- You must have completed Bachelor of Engineering course from a recognised university. --> Air Force Academy :- You must have completed Graduation degree from a recognised university with Physics and Mathematics subjects in your 12th standard. 4. You must be Physically and Mentally fit. |

Percentage required: There is no such percentage required in Graduation to apply for CDS (Combined Defence Services) examination. The only thing is, you must have to pass "Graduation" from a recognized university.
Educational Qualifications required for CDS Examination: CDS Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year to offer admission to several cadres like Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy. For Naval Academy: Candidates must have obtained "B.Sc with Physics and Mathematics" or "Bachelor of Engineering" from a recognized university For IMA and OTA: Candidates must have obtained "Degree" from a recognized university or its equivalent educational qualification is accepted For Air Force Academy: Candidates must have passed "B.Sc with Physics and or Mathematics" or "Bachelor of Engineering" is accepted. |

CDS examination is conducted by the UPSC twice the year and as the notification released by the UPSC, there is no such percentage criteria mentioned in that.
Yes there is a fixed lower limit of the age which is 21 years at the time of application. |

To apply for the CDS exam , there is no Cutoff percentage . So , to apply for the exam , you should meet the Eligiblity criteria of the CDS exam
Combined Defence Service exam Eligiblity criteria:- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1) The candidate shouldhave completed Gradution from a Recognised University 2) The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-22 years , for NAVY 3) The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-23 years , for Airforce 4) The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-24 years , for Army 5) The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-25 years , for OTA 6) The candidate shouldbe a citizen of India 7) The candidate shouldbe an UnMarried candidate The exam will be conducted by UPSC of indian , twice in every year. Selection process is , (1) Written exam (2) SSB Interview (3) Medical Test |

There is no percentage barrier for CDS exam. The eligibility criteria varies for the 3 wings of defence services but for all,graduation marks does not matters.
For IMA-Age limit 19-24years and Graduation from any stream. For OTA,Graduation from any stream and age limit 19-25years. These two are for Army. For AirForce Academy, Age limit 19-23 years and graduate in science with either Physics or Maths OR Graduate in Engineering and Technology. For Indian Naval Academy, age limit 19-22 years and Graduate in Engg/Technology. As you can see there is no minimum marks criteria for any of the subsections of CDS. CDS is 'Combined Defense Services' exam conducted by UPSC twice a year for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy,Indian Air Force Academy,Indian Naval Academy and Officer's Training Academy.
There is no percentage bar to apply for CDS exam.The educational qualification to apply for CDS exam are as mentioned below:- * For Indian Military Academy/Officer's Training Academy - graduation from a recognized university or equivalent qualification. * For Indian Naval Academy - Bachelor of Engineering. * For Indian Air Force Academy - Senior Secondary Level degree with Physics and Mathematics subject and Bachelor of Engineering. |

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service and the examination is conducted twice in a year by UPSC.
There is no specific requirement of aggregate in graduation to be eligible for CDS . But there is need of discipline from which you have done your graduation for different wings and even in the age criteria also . * Indian Military Academy :- 19-24 years and graduation from any discipline . * Officers Training Academy :-19-25 year and graduation from any discipline . * Naval Academy :- 19-22 year and graduation with Physics ,Mathematics or B.Tech . * Indian Air Force :-19-23 year and graduation with B.Tech /B.E . Above all the candidates must be unmarried Indian citizen . |

I must say you that there is no particular percentage required in UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) CDS(Combined Defence Service) examination. After completion of your graduation you can apply for CDS examination. Following are the eligibility creteria required to apply for CDS examination :- 1. Candidate must be the citizen of India. 2. Candidate must have completed his/her graduation with passing marks. 3. Candidate's age limit must be in between 19 to 25 years. 4. Candidate must be physically and mentally fit. After applying for CDS, 1. You will have to give written examination after passing in Tier 1 written examination you have to give Tier 2 written examination. 2.Then you have to give the Interview. 3. If you gets passed in the interview then a medical test will be taken. Best of Luck. |

This examination is conducted twice in a year. There is no specific percentage bar to apply CDS exam. There are some protocol to apply for CDS examination. 1.Candidates should have the citizenship of India. Education Qualification: For IMA and OTA- Candidates should posses Graduation Degree. For INA- Candidates should have Engineering Degree from any recognized university. For Air Force Academy- Candidates should posses their 12th examination. CDS criteria for Girls: For Officer Training Academy- Unmarried women can also apply for this post. Age Limits: IMA: Age should be between 19 to 24 years. INA: Age should be between 19 to 22 years.
