Yes, there is a possibility for pursuing M.Sc in Genetics course after successful completion of B.Sc in Microbiology course. The basic educational qualification required is given below.

>> The minimum qualification required is B.Sc in any of the below mentioned subjects.
* Botany or
* Microbiology or
* Zoology or
* Biochemistry or
* Genetics or
* Molecular Biology or
* Biotechnology or
* Biomedical Sciences or
* Life Sciences ..etc.,

>> As you are done with B.Sc in Microbiology course, I can say that you are certainly eligible to pursue this course.

>> Admission criteria generally varies from college to college. And most of the colleges conduct their own entrance examinations for getting admission into this course.

Possibility to study MSc Genetics for BSc Microbiology students is high. Eligibility to study MSc Genetics is as follows: BSc in Biochemistry / Botany / Environmental Science / Genetics / Zoology / Microbiology / Life Sciences / BPharm / Home Science / Agriculture Science / Veterinary Science / BE / BTech (Biotechnology / Bioinformatics) with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Therefore, BSc Microbiology students can study MSc Genetics. Candidates have to appear for an entrance examination for the admission to study MSc Genetics. Duration of the course is two years.
