Is it possible to apply for PO jobs in banks after getting 55% in graduation?
Are there banks for which 55% is required to apply for po exam . i belong 2 general category also i scored 55% in grad.. n want 2 give po exam. also wen wil these exam held? please help me.. thnkx ..

There is no particular percentage is required in order to be eligible for appearing in PO Recruitments. The minimum eligibility criteria required is "Graduate Degree" or Bachelor Degree PASS from a recognized university. Since there is no certain minimum percentage is required I am sure you are certainly eligible to apply for Probationary Officer Jobs. Sorry,you are not eligible to apply for the Bank PO job with 55% marks in graduation as you belong to general category .
To apply for post of PO in banks, you have to appear for the IBPS exam . IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection . IBPS provides its service to all Public Sector Banks, Regional Rural Banks, SBI, RBI, NABARD and SIDBI which are its regular member organizations. The eligibility to apply for IBPS P.O. exam are as under:- -The candidate should have a graduation degree with minimum 60%(55% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in any discipline from a recognized university. -The candidate should have a certificate/diploma/degree in Computer Operations/Languages from an institute/college/university. -The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is from 20 years to 30 years for general category.There is age relaxation for OBC candidate by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. IBPS exam syllabus : English, General awareness, Marketing, Computers, Quantitative aptitude, Test of reasoning. -Selection procedure involves of *Preliminary Examination, *Main Examination, *Personal Interview. |

Yes definitely you are eligible to apply for Bank PO Exam with such percentage of marks. Since to apply for Bank Exams there is No specific criteria required for any candidates.
One thing you need to do is you must satisfy the Age criteria as well as educational qualification. Yes, you are eligible to appear for the PO examination. The examination is conducted by the IBPS and the SBI every year for the selection of the candidate in the jobs.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is :- * Candidate must have passed the graduation from the recognised university. * Candidate age must be between 21-30 years and relaxation for the reserved category candidates. The application for the IBPS PO examination is available now. The examination are conducted in the three stages as the :- * Preliminary. * Mains. * Interview. The candidate need to qualify in all the stages for the final selection for the jobs.
