Yes, of course you must appear and qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the IGNOU. However, if you have already qualified in the CLAT then you may exempt from the IGNOU entrance exam.

- The candidate who have passed LLB or equivalent qualification are eligible to undergo the LLM.
- The qualification must be obtained from a reputed institution with minimum 50% marks. Moreover the candidate has to attend and pass the admission test carried out by the IGNOU University or institution that offers the course.
