MAT stands for Management Aptitude Test and GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. Both MAT and GMAT are the entrance exams conducted for admissions in MBA course.

Difference between MAT and GMAT :-
MAT examination is taken by the students who wish to pursue MBA course from Indian institutes, whereas GMAT is a test which is taken by students who wish to pursue MBA course from abroad. Even, many Indian institutes accepts GMAT scores for admission in MBA programs. The MAT examination is valid for only one year whereas the GMAT score is valid for a period of 5 years.
