I am doing my 1st year in M.A. in History. I am vexed up of hearing from people that History is a worst course. I want to know whether History has a good scope in future or doesn't have a better future as others said? Please advice me.

M.A History is not a bad course. However, it is true that job prospects for M.A History is less when compared to the other Master degree course. Every course has their own scope and job prospects as well. Just concentrate on studies and get knowledge in the field of History instead of worrying about job. If you have good Talent and skill, then you may get a good job for sure.

I suggest you to Improve your Communication skill and also apply for some short term Technical course along with M.A History like, Type Writing, Computer Course etc. You may have a chance to get Job based on the Technical course.

Normally, those candidates who have completed their M.A History can get a job as a History teacher or Museum Curators etc. Apart from this you also get a job in the Library. Here, I have been listing some best job prospects for M.A History holder.

History is definitely not the worst course. The people who claim history to be worst are ignorant of the real value and applications as well as scope of this field.
