Physiotherapists are required in each department of a hospital, be it ICU, or geriatrics.
You can also choose to work independently or be part of multidisciplinary team. You can enjoy flexible working hours as consultant, choosing the number of hours you work everyday. |

The employment opportunities for Physiotherapists are tremendous these days. These candidates have lot of demand across the countries like USA, Canada, Australia etc.
The candidates who have Physiotherapy qualification can work in : * Rehabilitation departments of hospitals. * Municipal corporations. * Private bodies like Clinics etc. * Teaching field. For this the candidate need to complete their Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from any recognized university or institution. The pay scale in government bodies varies between Rs.3000 to Rs.5000. The private organizations offer better packages i.e., Rs.7500 to Rs.10,000 per month. The remuneration for the practiced physiotherapists can get around Rs.20,000 to Rs.40,000 per month. The physiotherapist can get the amount according to the number of patients he/ she attends. After gaining experience of five years, he/ she can go up with their own practices. In this case, they can charge around Rs.300 to Rs.450 per sitting. |
