Since you want to go for journalism, it is sure that you will be doing either a diploma course or a degree course in Mass Communication. Both are available in St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. The official website of this college is www.xaviercomm.org. But in my opinion instead of doing a diploma course, it is better that you do a degree course. Today a lot of institutions want people who are doing degree courses in mass communications. There you will have an upper hand in comparison to the person having just a diploma in it.
Also Xavier's offers diploma course in Videography,Films & Televisions, Digital Video Production, etc. You may do it side by side your degree course. That way you will have the knowledge of journalism and video production and camera work etc. So you will be invincible in the field you join. Think about it.

Journalism is the activity of gathering, assessing, creating and presenting the news and information. If you want to study the P.G Journalism course you need to apply for the online entrance test. For applying the OET of journalism you need to meet the requirement of following.

1. Your age must be below 35 years

2. You must have to completed your 3 Years of graduation(12+3) from any approved University.

Colleges conduct their own online exam for the candidates applying for the Journalism course in their college.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
