Sir/Mam, I am a fresher and I know only core java and some basic of sql. Am I eligible to clear the cognizant technical interview? What is the preparation I would need to further to ensure that I will clear the interview? Can you please guide me on the same?

Yes, you can definitely clear the technical interview of Cognizant with knowledge in core Java and SQL. There will not be much problem as Cognizant is a mass recruiting IT service based company which readily takes candidates having basic computer programming skills. Having knowledge of SQL is an added advantage. You should stress in your communication skill, have good domain knowledge especially the fundamentals and should have adequate knowledge on certification/training/internship/project whichever you had undertaken.
