The software is best field among networking and software for ECE fresher to join. The scope for the software engineers are high compared to the network engineer. The salary is will be higher for the candidates in the software field compared to the network field. The chances of working abroad countries are higher for the software programmer. Software is more creative job, you can create apps, sites etc. Networking is more of a behind the screen administration role. Software job is fun to work, in networking there is no fun.
