Hello Sir, I passed B.E (ECE) in the year 2012 and now working in the Networking field. I would like to switch from Networking Field to Embedded field. I have an average knowledge about 8085, 8051, assembly language and C. Is it suitable for me to switch to Embedded field with the above criteria?

Look, it is always better to stay in the present filed in which you are working as you have a good knowledge about it as well you have experience in that field working from a long time. So, my opinion for you will be to stay in the same field without changing it to stay focused at your field. Otherwise, if you think that you have knowledge in the Embedded field and you can explore your knowledge to enhance your career in that field, then you may change your current field.

Yes, it is suitable for you to switch from Networking to Embedded field after completion of your B.E course in ECE stream and working in Network field. Being an ECE candidate, you have will have knowledge about embedded systems and microprocessors, if you have the ability or talent required to be in Embedded field then, you can switch to Embedded field else, I recommend you to continue with the Networking field.
