Eligibility to get job in IT Sector with 77.3% in 10th, 69.3% in 12th and 8.38 SGPA till 2nd semester for CSE student?


Sir,
I have 77.3% in 10th standard and 69.3% in 12th. I have secured my SGPA in 2nd year which is 8.38. Now I am in 3rd year in CSE. Am I eligible for getting job in IT major companies recruitment?

I am very happy to say that you are very certainly eligible to get job in IT sector with the above mentioned percentages. To get job in IT sector, you must first get eligibility to sit in the recruitment processes of top MNC companies. As you have scored very good percentages till now, I hope that you will score good percentage in 3rd and 4th years of B.Tech too. No doubt you have scored good percentages i.e., more than 65% marks both in 10th Class and in 12th Class. So make sure that you score more than 75% marks in 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th semesters too to have an aggregate of 65% marks in B.Tech. In general, the minimum percentage required throughout the academics is 65% marks. Besides this, I suggest you to have good command over Programming languages namely C, C++, Java, Oracle, .NET, PHP, UNIX, LINUX and Data structures to make sure you get selected in top MNC's.

As per your throughout marks, you are eligible for IT companies jobs.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidates must have secured a minimum of 60% marks throughout the studies for IT company's recruitment process.

Candidates having more than two year gap throughout the studies are not eligible for recruitment companies.

Candidates should not have any pending backlog.
