Yes, there are few scholarships available for Deck Cadet course. And that are:-
Smt. Salma Ali Memorial Scholarship - Rs. 25,000 as waiver in tuition fee Toppers Scholarship - 25% discount in tuition fee Scholarship for Female Candidates - 25% tuition fee waiver for all courses Directors Scholarship - Rs. 25,000 All these scholarships scheme are offered by CAAMN which is stands for Commander Ali's Academy of Merchant Navy. |

You can apply for deck cadet job in shipping companies, straight after class 12th PCM stream. You must have good eyesight and physical fitness for this job.
There will be pre sea training also and you need to pass written exam to get such jobs. Only those who pass the training with good marks are eligible for job. |
