Thumbs up Re: How to get placed if there is no campus placement in college?

Many colleges have very less campus placement and this is one of the major problems for many students who are studying in those colleges. Now what can be done if there is no opportunity of campus placements? some of the tips as follows,

-> Off-campus is the best option if there is no on-campus placement in your college. The tough part about off-campus is that getting the information on which college is conducting the off-campus and the best way to find out is to approach your college placement officials or department officials who will surely be able to guide you on the off-campus details as they will be notified by the colleges around who conduct the off-campus placements.

-> Make use of your friends circle. If some company is coming for off-campus they won't be announcing it publicly in internet or so, they will just put a word to the college and colleges which are around the place so if you have friends around different colleges in your place it will be easier for you to know the information on it. These days you have FB, Linkedln and many more social sites to get to know people from different colleges and background, use them wisely for these purposes.

-> Inform your friends and relatives who are working in different MNC companies that you are seeking for job, so that whenever they get notification in their company they can send in your resume for the calling you to the selection process.

Have your resume prepared well in hand so that you can post it or circulate it whenever you find the job openings.

Since there is no big companies coming in to your college ofcourse there will be small scale companies coming in at times. Do not hesitate to attend them, jut prepare well and attend those as well so that you will gain good experience and if the work is challenging then you can join there and gain 2-3 years experience then jump into big companies.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
