Which important tools and framework to study to join IBM as a Java developer?
I have completed M.Sc Computer and good knowledge in Java. But, when I consulted to an IBM employee he said that only Java doesn't helps to join IBM, I have to study supporting tools and frameworks. Can anyone please tell me what are the important tools to be studied to get job in IBM as a Java developer?

Yes, you got it correctly from that person about IBM. Only java is not sufficient to get into IBM.
You must be knowing IBM tools and their use. Java is even not recommended bu the IBM. C and C++ is accepted by IBM because most of the IBM tools are developed using these language as well as C and C++ is used in Operating System kernel of the mainframe which is a product of IBM. So, you must know some of the IBM tools: 1. DB2. 2. IBM Bluemix these are sufficient for you to get into IBM. |
