The paper of “Basics of Actuarial Science”, in the first year of P.G. Diploma Course in Actuarial Science, offered by Annamalai University, is a conventional 100 marks exam of time duration three hours. The paper has two sections. Section A consists of eight questions, each carrying 8 marks. Students have to answer any three. Section B consists of 5 questions. All the questions in this section are compulsory. Each of the questions carries 12 marks. There are internal choices in the question, but no overall choice is there in this section. The questions cover the entire syllabus of the subject.
