Environmental studies has been included in all branch of engineering studies and also in IGNOU certified courses. Today all the universities of India made it compulsory to study. So the basic idea of environment is necessary for all branches of students. The subject is a very real life based subject and is very necessary to know each and every aspect of environments. Definition of various environmental components, ecosystems, various zones of geography and classifications of them, various basic rules of environmental chemistry, and various issues related to environment, Indian flora and fauna, green house effects, carbon monoxide emissions, earth hazards, earth’s environments and seasons, various harmful gases, pollutions, acid rains and many more environmental issues are discussed in the subject. So if you are really environmental concerned person, the subject should interest you, but if you are not also there should be enough concern for the subject for the betterment of the earth. The paper has only 4 questions and all must be answered, though you can get alternatives in some questions. Word limit for these questions are 600 words.
