Environmental Education paper forms an integral part of almost all the courses now-a-days. Every student has to go through the basics of Environmental education. Hence, this subject has been included in B.Ed course for which a question paper is set for 75 marks. The paper is formed of three parts. Part1 consists of 12 questions out of which you need to answer 10 and each carries 2 marks. Part2 consists of 8 questions and you need to answer 5 carrying 5 marks each. Part3 consists of 2 questions carrying 15 marks each. The exam is conducted in both Tamil and English. Questions on environmental degradation, noise pollution and its control, soil erosion, sustainable development, environmental management, environmental movements, population and its effect and Stockholm Conference are found in Part1 and Part2. Some other topics in the question paper are deforestation and its effect, principles of environmental education, non-sustainability, environmental degradation, Chipko Movement, scope of environmental education and its constraints, role of media and environment protection.
