Educational qualification required for finding job opportunities as fitter:

The basic requirement is that candidates must have completed their class 10 under either state board scheme or central board scheme or matriculation. Furthermore, they must have completed their ITI in the respective field for which applications are invited. For instance, for the position of Electrical Fitter, candidates must have completed their ITI in the field of electrical and electronics. What are the job responsibilities of a fitter?

If a fitter works in a manufacturing or industrial unit, he will be responsible for working with large pipes and in case he is appointed for some commercial organizations, he will be required to work with smaller pipes. In both cases, he will have to first study the blue print of the machinery and should get a clear view of the fittings done on the plant or machinery. Then, he will have to choose the appropriate tool for effectively performing the duty entrusted to him. At the end of the day’s work, he will have to ensure the proper working of the machinery with respect to its fittings.
