Hello Sir/Madam, I have studied Commerce in my 12th class. But I have achieved only 41% in my Board exam. Now I am thinking to take Arts in my Graduation. So, I can take admission in BA with English?

Yes, you can get B.A (English) admission after completion of your 12th standard Commerce stream with 41% aggregate marks from a recognised board. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any stream from a recognised board are eligible to pursue B.A (English) course. Admissions to B.A (English) course are done through merit basis of 12th standard board examination marks or through entrance examination conducted by the respective college/ university.

It depends on the reputation of the college where you are applying for admission. If you are looking for admission at a top notch college, then 41% marks may not be enough because cut off are very high at such colleges.

You can expect admission only at colleges, which are not so good and doesn't have a good reputation. It will depend on you to go for admission or look for some other course.
