I want to apply for NDA/NA entrance exam. Can you please let me know that I can apply or not? I have just got admission in 11th Science. Please tell me the procedure in details for applying?

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.
NA stands for Naval Academy.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts NDA/NA examination twicw every year.
Eligibility to appear in NDA/NA examination are
-Candidate must be a citizen of India.
-Candidate must be of age 16 to 19.5 years.
-Candidate must have passed 12th examination with Physics and Mathematics .
-Candidates appearing in 12th boards examination with Physics and Mathematics are also eligible.

Since , you are in 11th standard at present then you are not eligible to apply for NDA/NA examination.
You will be eligible to appear in NDA/NA(I) in 2017 as in 2017 you will be appearing in 12th examination.

Eligibility Criteria :-
* Completion of 12th with aggregate (65%).
* Should be an Indian citizen
* Age limit 16.5-19.5 .
Firstly written test will be there . After cracking that exam . interview will be there, there the higher officials will wind up you in different ways . Sorry you are not eligible for NDA entrance exam after 11th standard. Those candidates who are interested to apply for NDA entrance exam must complete 12th standard from a recognized board. So, you can apply for NDA once after completing 12th standard.

Any stream 12th standard students are eligible to apply for Indian Army Wing. Only science stream students with Physics and Mathematics subjects are eligible to apply for Indian Navy and Air Force wing.

Procedure for NDA exam:-

1.Written test
2.Physical test

Written test is conducted by UPSC but other 3 steps are conducted by SSB.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
