My Son is 7 years old and studying in 2nd standard in rural area of Haryana. We want to seek admission in the Army school of India. Kindly help us to procedure of admission in this direction.Tell us in detail about admission process.

There are almost 130 Army Public Schools in India. To get admission at any of the schools, first you have to get Application form from the school admission office, which are generally distributed in the first week of march with a fee of Rs.100. you should fill up and submit that application form at the school admission office. Then the school will admission test for all the applicants, except for students, who are seeking admission into 1st standard. If your child qualifies such admission test, he will get an admission in Army Public school.

If you are a serving defence personal then your son cannot be refused an admission to Army schools anywhere in the country. However, if you are a civilian I must tell you about the rule that children of civilians cannot exceed 20 percent. So if you are a civilian then better make it quick. Admissions are open every year till July though.

>Fill out the admission application form which is available at the school.
>Once registered you will be notified about the date for the admission test and interview.
>If your son qualifies the test and interview, then he is eligible for the admission.
>At the time of admission you must have the following documents with you:
-Report card of previous class.
-Transfer certificate obtained from the previous school.

Admission fee will also be paid on the same day.
