Eligibility criteria for DUMET?


If a student passes 11th from a CBSE affiliated school located in UP but does 12th from the same board of a Delhi school, can he be eligible for DUMET (2015)?

Yes, definitely you can appear in DUMET that is conducted by CBSE.

If you don't have domicile of Delhi then don't worry because every college has few percentage of Seats for non domicile candidates.

So, prepare well.

Yes, you are eligible for DUMET after passing 12th from CBSE board.
Candidate must have passed 12th class in science discipline.
Candidate must have secured above 50% marks in 12th. Also there is relaxation of 10% marks for reserved category candidates.
Age of candidate must be from 17 to 24 years.

For appearing in the DUMET you must have to fulfill the below given eligibility criteria :

Eligibility:

The candidate should have completed 12th with Biology, Physics and Chemistry with good academic record from any recognized board of India. As you have completed your 12th from CBSE which is a well affiliated board so you are eligible for DUMET.

DUMET stands for Delhi Univeristy Medical Entrance Test. It is a Medical entrance examination which is conducted by Delhi University for admissions to MBBS and BDS courses offered at the University. Eligibility criteria required to appear in DUMET examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must have completed Higher Secondary or 12th standard with Non-Medical Science stream from any recognised school in Delhi.

2. You must have attained the minimum age of 17 years to be eligible to appear in DUMET examination.

DUMET entrance exam is conducted for admission in Delhi University in MBBS and BDS course.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for DUMET 2015 exam but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be in between 17 to 26 years.

DUMET - Delhi University Medical/ Dental Entrance Test.

The exam is conducted by the Delhi University to admit the students for MBBS or BDS program in the university.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidates age should not be below 17 years.

* Candidate should complete their 10+2 in the schools which must be within the national territory of Delhi.

* Candidate should complete 10+2 from an educational institution that has been recognized by the ICSE or CBSE boards.

* Candidate should secure 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The candidate should have learned English, Physics, Biology and Chemistry in their class 10+2.

The candidates who are the residents of Delhi are eligible to apply for this exam. The candidates of the other states are not eligible.

However, you are eligible for the exam if and only if you are the resident of Delhi.
