Hello sir, I want to get admission in a any Kendriya Vidyalaya or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in 11th standard with Art (Painting) stream? How can I get admission?

In any of the school the admission depends upon the performance of class 10th.

Kendriya Vidyalay :

There are 40 seats for each stream.Hence, to get admission in here is tough .
For KV students,they will see your class 10 cgpa. If two students have same CGPA then the student with higher marks in mathematics will be selected.

For Non KV students the eligibility criteria is 80% minimum for Science and Commerce & 65% for humanities or arts.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya :

In this school admission takes place against the vacancy. One can check the vacancy in the local newspaper. It will conduct an All India level selection test. Then a common merit list is prepared for the selected students. Candidates are required to submit their application form along with the photocopies of the documents.
