Hello sir, I am studying in 10th standard from CBSE board and after completion of it want to take admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chennithala, Alappuzha. Eligibility criteria and procedure to take admission? Which type of questions asked in entrance exam of it?

The students can apply to the school for the admission to Class XI after completion of 10th standard. The student age should be between 14 to 18 years for the admission to Class XI. The admission to class XI will be made on the basis of performance of students in Class X Board Examinations certificate by CBSE / State Board in Jawahar Navodaya Vidayalaya, Chennithala, Alappuzha. The students will be selected on the basis of common merit test. The results will be notified later. The entrance test consists of 100 questions for 100 marks. It has three sections like Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test and Language Test. The duration of test is two hours. Candidates those who have completed their class 10th from a recognised Board with a good percentage which is above 65% of marks in it are eligible to get admission in the above mentioned School.
To get admission in class 11th in the above mentioned School, you have to qualify in the admission cum entrance test conducted by the School authorities.
Questions will be asked mainly from class 10th topics. So, prepare well with your class 10th syllabus for the said examination.

You should have completed a minimum of 10th standard education from a recognized board and should have scored a minimum of 60% in aggregate in order to be eligible to apply for admission, furthermore, the institute conducts its own entrance test and once after clearing the examination, you will be most eligible to avail admission.

There is no such fixed set of questions that are to be asked in the entrance test, basically questions will be asked on the basis of 10th standard itself just to check how well versed are you with the syllabus and to check your basic educational knowledge.
