Re: Is it a problem being a state board student?
No, its not a problem in being a state board student. State boards are recognized boards and few ones are reputed also.
But there are some facts that cannot be changed like State board syllabus are easy then Central Board syllabus so its harder for state board students to score high marks in any national level entrance exam while its a little bit easy for CBSE students that's the only main difference |

Re: Is it a problem being a state board student?
No, there is no problem in studying in as a state board student as mostly you are the one's who have easier chances than other boards to score marks in your respected 10th and +2.
When regarding the other boards their syllabus is tough when compared to State boards and it is tough to clear their subjects as the pattern for the exams is quite difficult. And the other thing to be noted is that in the case of studying in state board you need to have to refer many other foreign authors books to clear the exams while in the case of other boards such as a CBSE you need to get more references from other authors as the questions cannot be predicted. So, it is better to be in State board student and easier way to score marks. |

Re: Is it a problem being a state board student?
No, it is definitely not a problem if you are a student from State Board provided you have a good percentage. The usual problem arises because of the second language which is compulsion in State Board and as a result of which you have to devote less time to core subjects which is not present in CBSE board wherein there is no compulsion of opting second language, thereby allowing the students to concentrate more on core subjects. Most of the entrance exams of the country are based on syllabus of CBSE and not State Boards.

Re: Is it a problem being a state board student?
Every state board qualification is accepted everywhere and I don't think you will have any problem if you have passed exam with hard work. Generally, problem arises for those state board students who pass by unfair means and their qualification is just a piece of paper.
If you have passed exams with good marks and have good knowledge then surely you will crack any competitive exams and get admission in top colleges. Hence, you should not worry and try to be positive. |

Candidate who have passed 12th class from state bard can appear in any entrance exams after 12th. Passing certificate provided by state board has same value as that of CBSE, ICSE and other boards. There is no difference in eligibility criteria for state board student and other board students. |
