DOB of my son is 04.11.2008. He id in std 1 in DPS Aligarh. Some teachers and parents are saying that he is under age for std 1. He might anyhow complete the course under undue pressure but it will affect his future development and he might get distracted from studies. We are in a state of confusion. Please guide us.

The right age for getting an admission in class 1 at Delhi Public School, Aligarh is 5 years as on 1st October of preceding year of the academic session.

Since, your son was born on 11th Nov, 2008 and as he has attained the age of 5 years. So, he can get admission in Class 1 at Delhi Public School, Aligarh.

The following documents are required at the time of admission are :-
-->Birth Certificate – Birth Certificate of Municipal Corporation
-->Transfer Certificate - Previous School (for Class I and above)
-->Medical Fitness Certificate - MBBS Doctor Certificate or Registered Medical Practitioner.
-->Blood Group - Authorized lab. Certified by MBBS doctor.
