Profile:

National Rainfed Area Authority was established under the Government of India. The authority actually comes under the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. Evolvement of the common guidelines for all schemes of different Ministries including Externally aided project for the development of Rainfed farming systems is one of the mandate of the authority.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Consultant:
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in relevant subjects is the minimum educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Chief Consultant:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree in relevant subjects is the minimum educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600.

3. Recruitment of Principal Consultant:
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. degree in relevant subjects is the minimum educational qualification required for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8700.

Age Limit:

Candidates should not be more than 56 years of age for the above specified posts.

Selection Process:

The final selection for the above specified posts will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the personal interview examination with the selection committee.
