My son is appearing in the examination of class 10th from C.B.S.E. standard this year, and I want to get his admission in class 11th in THE ALIGARTH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY ALIGARH, so please let me know the process that how can he get the admission in A.M.U. ALIGARH, about the availability of test form and the test schedule, that when and where he get the form and when the test will be held.

The application for admission in 11th for both science , arts and commerce stream i.e. in Senior Secondary School Certificate (Science Stream) and Senior Secondary School Certificate (Arts/So. Sc.& Commerce Streams) can be made both online and offline. The charges for both is Rs 200/-

but you have missed the date for this year. The registration were closed on 10th march and exam was held on 13th May. Since your child is in 10th you will be applying in next year. So the registration will start from February to March and the exam will be held in May.

The duration of the exam was 2 hours this year. And for the science stream the exam started at 10 am and for the arts and commerce stream the exam started at 4 pm. This year the exam for admission in 11th was conducted in 4 cities - Aligarh, Lucknow, Patna and Srinagar.

Only those candidates are eligible for test whose average percentage of Physics, maths and science is at least 45% in 10th. The paper will be objective type of 100 marks and 100 questions. Science questions will be asked for 50 marks, Maths questions for 30 mark and 20 questions will be asked from General Knowledge and Indo-Islamic Culture. So tell him to prepare these well.
