Which subjdct dhould be chosen in class 8th for interior designing

I am very much interested in this and want to make my carrrer in this field only.

You should first of all have to complete your 12th standard with Science, as it is the minimum qualification required to appear for NATA which is the entrance examination for Interior Designing course.

Now, as you have asked as to which subject you should choose in class 8 for Interior designing course, so there is nothing such as choosing a subject or something like that at an early stage of class 8.

However, if you meant to say that which stream to select, I would recommend you to choose Science stream as it would help you in fulfilling the eligibility criteria to appear for NATA.

Therefore, if you meant to ask about stream, then your answer is "Science" and if not than I would suggest you to kindly concentrate on your studies and take up Science after the completion of your 10th standard.


However, below I have mentioned the eligibility criteria for NATA.

Eligibility for NATA:

> Aspirants should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) or its equivalent examination from a recognized University or Board or Institute to apply for this exam.

> Aspirants currently appearing for the 10+2 exam are also eligible to attend the exam.

> Aspirants should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination.

> Aspirants must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and also in Mathematics separately.

> Aspirants should be physically and mentally fit at the time of exam.

You choose regular subject's in 8th standard. For being an interior designer you need to do course in interior designing which is of 2 year course. Minimum eligibility for this course is 12th standard. Subjects doesn't matters for this course so you have your choice to choose your subjects. After 12th standard you may join this course.

As you mention that you passed 7th class and wants to take admission in 8th class with preferred subjects for interior designing but its not possible to take desired subjects in 8th standard because all subjects are compulsory in 8th class which one provided by the school as ell as you cannot add any more subject in 8th standard. You can choose the subjects in 11th class and after passing senior secondary not now so now focus on your studies and take subjects which schools provides you if you wanna be an interior designer than take subjects accordingly in 11th standard

To pursue your career in Interior designing, you must first complete you class 10 and do class 12 in arts/science/commerce based subjects based on your interest and caliber. You can also opt for Diploma in decoration and interior designing after class 10th. It is advisable to do degree course after class 12 for good career. To get admission in reputed and good colleges/ universities one must appear for entrance examinations like National entrance examination for design (NEED), NIFT, Common entrance examination for design (CEED) etc..,

In 8th standard, there are no subjects, which are related to Interior designing. You can join in Interior designing related courses only after the completion of your 10th standard. After the completion of 10th standard, you can join in Diploma in Interior designing course. But, before completing 10th standard, there are no subjects or courses, which are related to Interior designing.

Firstly, you have to complete your 12th. Then, you can give the entrance exam for Interior Designing like NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architect). I would suggest you to opt the science stream in class 11th which is important for interior designing.Basically, subjects doesn't matters in this course but science stream will help you.
