What is the age critera for pre LKG/nursery my son born on aug.24, 2013 will he is eligible to admit in school april from j&k (sunderbani) rajouri? Who can provide me the complete details on the same? Awaiting for the response soon as possible. Thank you!

The minimum age required for a child to get admission in LKG in CBSE Board school is 3 years 6 months. Since, your son is born on 24-08-2013, he is 2 years 8 months old, you cannot join him in LKG in CBSE Board school. You can join him in Pre KG in any other school.

As, per KV which runs under Central government and affiliated with CBSE.

The minimum age limit of candidates to get admission in Std I is 5 years and 8 months as on 31st March of year of appearing for examination.

So, you are eligible to get your ward admission in LKG in any school. To get other details for examination visit the respective school.

CBSE that is Central board of secondary education has defined bthe Eligibility criteria for class nursery is as follows-
A child must have a minimum age of 4 years at the time of admission. The date of birth of your kid is Aug, 2013.
So now he is not eligible for class nursery because he is not eligible for class nursery.

Actually there is No such requirement exist for the class of LKG. Since under CBSE, there are several schools which have various eligibility Criteria.

In general to get admission in CBSE Schools you need to have minimum 3 years and 6 months.

And also you need to produce " Date o Birth Certificate " at the time of Joining. So you can join your child in any CBSE School wherever satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Minimum age required to get admission in LKG in CBSE school is 3 and half years as per the rules of Government of India.
Hence get admission to your child in LKG when he or she acquire the age of 3 and half years.

The candidate age must be not less than 3 years 10 months at the time of LKG admission through CBSE board. Please, refer the below CBSC school for more Information;

Age limit criteria for admission in LKG in CBSE board :-

Children completing three years and six months as on the 1st of June of the year of the application can only seek admission to L.K.G at the CBSE (Central Board for Secondary Education) school.

According to the admission norms of CBSE, one who haven't attained the mentioned age will not be eligible for admission in any CBSE schools.

The age limits for different stages of primary education is as below:

1. Nursery: 2 years 6 months to 3 years 6 months.

2. Lower Kinder Garten (LKG): 3 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months.

3. Upper Kinder Garten: 4 years 6 months to 5 years 6 months.

CBSE Stands for Central Board of Secondary Education.it has different age limit rules for different classes.

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education. For getting admission in LKG standard under any CBSE affiliated school you must have to fulfill the age criteria specified by the central board. The age criteria for getting admission in LKG standard says that your age should be in between three and half years to four and half years as on first June in the year of admission.
