Sir, i have done b.com hons with 2nd division and also appeared for b.ed exams whose result is yet to be announced. I want to know about the educational qualification required for teaching jobs in delhi in Kendriya Vidyalaya. Please guide.

Eligibility Criteria Required for TGT post in Kendriya Vidyalaya:

Generally educational qualification varies from post to post to get job in Kendriya vidyalaya schools. The minimum qualficiation required for TGT post in Kendriya Vidyalaya is given below.

Minimum Qualification:

>> You must have completed "Graduation" in concerned subject with minimum of 50% marks marks.
AND
>> You must have done B.Ed with TET/ CTET II
>> As you are still pursuing Graduation, first complete the Bachelor Degree then you may be eligible for applying for TGT post in Kendriya vidyalaya.

For Example: For TGT post in Mathematics, Graduation in Mathematics or subject at Graduation level is required.

Actually for TGT post in kendriya vidyalaya you must have atleast graduation in any stream with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all subjects.But B.Ed is compulsory for both TGT and PGT post,so beside academic qualification you must have B.Ed degree.

After completion of B.Ed you have to qualify CTET with an excellent score for TGT post in Kendriya Vidyalaya. They are central government schools and for a permanent teaching job in KVs you need to clear CTET.

Therefore, just be prepared for the exam and try to score as good as possible so that you are eligible for the said post.
