Hello sir, I want to make a career in public services. I have an interest in block development officer post. Right now i am studying in 12th. I want to know what qualification is needed to become on in Maharashtra?

No, you are not eligible to become B.D.O now after 10+2 qualification. To become B.D.O you have to appear and qualify in MPSC conducted every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed graduation degree from any recognised university.

Candidate's age must be between 19-33 years relaxation for reserved category.

So, you need to pursue graduation and after completing degree and then qualifying in entrance examination conducted by MPSC you will be eligible for recruitment as B.D.O in Maharashtra.

• Candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university in any stream.
• Age of candidate must be from 18 to 35 years. Age relaxation is also there as per government norms.
• Candidate will be on probation period of 2 years.
• There is no minimum percentage criteria in graduation.

Qualification required to become Block Development Officer in Maharashtra :

• Candidate must have passed B.Ed degree from any recognised university.
• There is no minimum percentage criteria.
• Age of candidate must be from 21 to 35 years. Relaxation is also there as per government norms.

Candidates must have completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
There is no percentage of marks required in Graduation level.
Candidates age must be in between 21 to 35 years.

My date of birth is 01 07.1984 and belong to open Category, can I eligible for Block development officer through MPSC
