Could you please lay down some procedures after passing CPT, what doors should I complete to meet or isn't compulsory for me to take maths and moreover did I need to take biology in commerce stream?

Steps after passing CPT:-

After CPT you can eligible for CA - IPCC.

So, you can register for IPCC.

And important is choose good coaching institutes for coaching.

And prepare well for exams.

And you must learn subjects with fully clarity.

Then only you can attempt in exams.

After passing CPT, you need to register yourself for IPCC and you will have 9 months time to prepare for the exam. You have to prepare for it according to the syllabus.

Clearing IPCC exams is necessary to make it to the next level of CA course. Hence, be prepared for it.

After passing CPT (Common Proficiency Test) exam, you need to register with ICAI for IPCC (Integrated Professional Competence Course) both groups within due time.After 8 months from the registration, exam for IPCC for both groups will be held.
Syllabus for IPCC group-1:
>Accounting
>Business Law, Ethics, Communication
>Cost Accounting and Financial Managements
>Taxation
Syllabus for IPCC group-2:
>Advanced Accounting
>Auditing and Assurance
>Information Technology and Strategic Management
You should opt for commerce stream as it will help you in learning various subjects like Accounting, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Financial Management, Advanced Accounting, etc. which are very important to qualify CA exams.

The next step after passing CPT level exam is to take the intermediate Professional Competence Course(IPCC) examination..

You need to register for the IPCC registration. The candidates should have cleared CPT level 9 months before become eligible for IPCC level exam.

The eligibility criteria to apply for IPCC is

Candidates should have cleared Common Proficiency Test(PCT) level of the Intermediate Course and 10+2 level or equivalent exam.

The candidates who have a graduation degree with minimum of 55% marks is also eligible to apply directly in IPCC exam.

The IPCC exam is conducted twice in a year-May and December.

There are two groups which has 7 subjects in each group.
Subjects in IPCC syllabus are

>>Accounting
>>Business Law, Ethics, Communication
>>Cost Accounting and Financial Managements
>>Taxation
>>Advanced Accounting
>>Auditing and Assurance
>>Information Technology and Strategic Management.

You also need to take coaching classes for preparation.

Hardwork and dedication is also very necessary to qualify IPCC level.
For qualifying IPCC level the candidates need to score minimum of 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate.
