Re: Can I start preparing for C.A while studying in class 11? Should I start studying at a Coaching center?
CA stands for Chartered Accountancy. This course has three stages, first stage is Common Proficiency Test. Candidates can register for CPT after 10th board exam but they can only appear after giving 10+2 board exams. CPT is an objective examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India in June and December every year.
This exam has questions from Fundamentals of Accountancy, Economics, Mercantile law and aptitude. If you are commerce stream candidate, then there is no need to join any coaching, you can easily crack this level of CA if you study your subjects in 10+2 well. For non commerce stream candidates, coaching is necessary for better preparation. In order to clear this test, candidate must score 30% marks in all subjects and 50% aggregate overall. For any more details about this test, you can visit http://www.icai.org. |
