Yes, of course 12th standard qualification is necessary to be eligible for Chartered Accountant course. After completing 12th standard you have to register for the CA foundation course or CPT exam. IPCC is the second level in the CA course. Those candidates who have completed their Graduation with 60% of marks can directly eligible to apply for the IPCC level. The final course of CA can be attended only after completing the training period.

Yes, 12th passed certificate is mandatory for CA course. You can apply for CA exam after completing your 12th class.

Also, if you have done diploma and then graduation without 12th class, then you can apply for CA course also.

CA stands for the Chartered Accountancy Course. In order to become a Chartered Accountant, you have to complete the following stages:

1. Common Proficiency test.

2. Integrated Professional Competence course.

3. Final course.

The first stage to enter into the Common Proficiency test. In order to be eligible for this exam, you must have done 10+2 from a recognized board.

So, yes, 12th passed certificate is mandatory for Chartered accountancy course.

It is an objective test consisting of two hundred questions from subjects like:

>>Mercantile law.

>>Economics.

>>Quantitative Aptitude.

>>Fundamentals of Accounting.

To clear this test, a candidate must score 30% marks in each subjects mentioned above and overall 50% aggregate.

For any more details, you can visit the official website of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India which conducts CPT two times every year in month of June and December respectively. It is www.icai.org.
